Vote: Who Is the Best Player From the Red Sox' 2006 Draft Class? While 2004 and 2007 go down as two of the most memorable years of the decade for Red Sox Nation, 2006 wasn't too bad, either.

That's because the Sox had a heck of draft class, plucking a handful of young stars that have already made a name for themselves in the bigs.

One of those players is current Indians pitcher Justin Masterson, who was traded by the Sox for catcher Victor Martinez in 2009. Masterson was 9-8 with a 3.76 ERA in Boston and has since gone 12-22 with a 4.23 ERA in Cleveland. This year, however, he's shot out of the gate and is 5-2 with a 2.52 ERA.

Another pitcher from that class is Daniel Bard, the Sox' right-handed set-up man. Bard has a 2.76 ERA in 144 games since storming into the Sox bullpen in 2009.

Ryan Kalish, who splashed onto the scene in 2010, is one of the Sox' top outfield prospects. In 53 games as a rookie last summer, Kalish hit .252 with four homers and 24 RBIs. Another outfielder, Josh Reddick, has made his fair share of appearances for the big club in both 2009 and 2010. Although he has a .182 average in 56 games for the Sox, the left-handed slugger has shown some pop, hitting three homers and seven doubles to go with a .331 slugging percentage.

Lars Anderson, once hyped as the Sox' next slugging first baseman, is now considered by many to be trade bait, thanks to the acquisition of Adrian Gonzalez in the offseason. However, just because he's likely lost his future in Boston because of Gonzo, it certainly doesn't mean he can't play. Anderson has 55 career homers in the minors, including 15 a year ago when he played for both Portland and Pawtucket.
