Former Celtic Brian Scalabrine will be joining long-time broadcaster Mike Gorman on Comcast SportsNet this summer, but it won't be to replace Tommy Heinsohn. He'll instead be calling WNBA games.

Scalabrine will be the color guy for two of the six Connecticut Sun games that CSN will air this summer, according to the Hartford Courant. He will make his debut during the Sun's June 25 matchup with the Indiana Fever.

Scal, a fan favorite of the Celtics' 2007-08 championship team, averaged 1.1 points in 18 games this season for the Chicago Bulls, who finished with a league-best 62 wins before falling to the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.
