The Anfield transfer spree rolls on.

After failing to sign Blackpool captain Charlie Adam on the final day of the January transfer window, Liverpool will reportedly again hold talks with the midfielder later this week, according to Sky Sports.

Adam, whose side was relegated this season despite his outstanding play, has long been linked to a move to a larger club.

The 25-year-old Scotland international, though, would be coming into what suddenly looks to be a crowded midfield with Jordan Henderson having already joined the club this June, and with Raul Meireles and Lucas having enjoyed strong 2010-11 seasons — in addition to a returning Steven Gerrard.
