Draft day is always a prime time for wheeling and dealing, as teams shuffle prospects, veterans and draft picks alike in hopes of landing the next big star.

The Bobcats, Bucks and Kings headlined the trade activity at the 2011 NBA Draft on Thursday, as they were involved in a three-team deal that sent Charlotte’s top scorer Stephen Jackson to the Badger State and brought No. 10 overall pick Jimmer Fredette to Sacramento with hopes of reviving a struggling franchise.

Fredette, last year’s Division I Player of the Year and NCAA leading scorer at BYU, was chosen at No. 10 by Milwaukee, but was dealt to the the Kings before he could even take off his Bucks draft hat.

The deal also involved two other top-20 picks, as the Bobcats acquired Sacramento’s No. 7 overall pick — 18-year-old power forward Bismarck Biyombo from the Congo — while sending the 19th overall selection — Tennessee power forward Tobias Harris — to the Bucks.

Rounding out the deal, Milwaukee shipped out a pair of former first-rounders in John Salmons (to Sacramento) and Corey Maggette (to Charlotte) while acquiring guards Shaun Livingston (from Charlotte) and Beno Udrih (from Sacramento).
