How Many Times Would Tim Wakefield Strike You Out in Five At-Bats? It dances. It dips. It dives. It looks so tantalizingly easy to hit, so the batter loads up and swings with all his might. He misses by a foot.

The knuckleball has been the primary weapon of Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield for 19 seasons, and like the great knuckleballers before him, Wakefield is honing his craft well into his fifth decade. He takes the mound Sunday in search of his 199th career victory.

Wakefield has made quite a few big league hitters look silly over the years. He's also made heroes out of middling infielders we won't name who got lucky and caught a knuckler that ran flat.

The question is, how do you think you'd do against him?

This isn't a Justin Verlander fastball or a Roy Halladay cutter that has you fearing for your life as you swing. This is a hittable-looking meatball going less than 70 miles per hour, waving around on its 60 foot, 6 inch path to home plate.

Here's a bat. Let's see how you'd do.
