With the labor situation in the NBA getting gloomier with every passing day, many NBA players are heading abroad to collect a paycheck.

Now it appears that former Celtic guard Carlos Arroyo may be on his way to Italy to play basketball, as Italian club Pallacanestro Cantu is interested, according to Vocero.com.

Arroyo may become the second Celtic this offseason to head overseas. Nenad Krstic signed with a professional team in Russia in June.

If Arroyo heads to Europe, it won't be his first stint overseas. In 2008, Arroyo played for Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv. In one full season in Isreal, Arroyo averaged 15 points per game and just under six assists, as Maccabi Tel Aviv won the Israeli League championship.

In nine NBA seasons, Arroyo has averaged over six points and three assists per game.
