Despite an early goal from Sainey Nyassi against Seattle on June 26, the Revolution were unable to steal a win on the road. A 2-1 loss at the hands of the Sounders pushed the Revs winless streak to seven games (0-5-2).

The club has also failed to win on the road this year (0-6-2) in eight attempts.

New England looks to end that streak in an Independence Day showdown with Real Salt Lake (7-5-3) at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday.

After an embarrassing 5-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City on May 25, the Revs have played in six consecutive one-goal games but have been unable to come out on top.

Those gritty performances should push the Revs (3-6-8), who have lost their last two meetings at Rio Tinto Stadium by a combined score of 11-0.
