It's still unclear where Chad Ochocinco will play football this fall. But if you believe a "direct message" the wide receiver sent on Twitter, then you probably expect him to end up in New England.

ProFootballTalk.com has the story of a Twitter user in Cincinnati who revealed that Ochocinco hinted that he may be on his way to the Patriots.

James Shively tweeted this on Thursday: "So much 4 @ochocinco getting cut by the #Bengals… Media dont know squat.Always tryin 2 stir drama up."

Then, according to PFT, Ochocinco sent Shively a direct message about the tweet, in which the wide receiver said "Media knows nothing but I'm going to enjoy clam chowder."

Of course, you have to take that all for what it's worth, but PFT said that they indeed saw a screen shot of the message that was sent only to Shively.

UPDATE: According to multiple reports, the Patriots have acquired Chad Ochocinco from the Bengals.
