That's saying a lot after the season No. 12 had in 2010, a season in which Brady took home the league's MVP award. Brady finished the season with some eye-popping numbers, including 3,900 passing yards and 36 touchdowns.
When you throw 36 touchdowns in a season, there are obviously plenty to go around, and that was certainly the case in 2010. In fact, Brady threw at least one touchdown pass to seven different receivers over the course of the season, perhaps as good an indication of New England's passing attack as any other.
Somewhat surprisingly, rookie tight end Rob Gronkowski led the team, as he hauled in 10 TD catches in his first season in the league, a number aided by his prowess in the redzone. Wes Welker wasn't far behind with seven touchdown grabs and Deion Branch was right behind him with six.
With Ochocinco now joining the mix, the race to be the receiving corps' leader in touchdowns is even more wide open. In his final season in Cincinnati, Ochocinco brought down four touchdowns from Carson Palmer. While Ochocinco's touchdown numbers have never been through the roof — his career high is 10, a number he achieved once — it's not unrealistic to expect that number to rise in 2011.
After all, there are very few quarterbacks who spread it around like Tom Brady did last year. Just ask his receiving corps.
