Which Red Sox Player Will Make the Biggest Impact in the Second Half of the Season? With their latest offensive explosion Thursday night, the Red Sox are back to firing on all cylinders after a lackluster interleague road trip.

While the starting rotation has been a bit uncertain as of late with trips to the disabled list by Clay Buchholz and Jon Lester, the Sox must be feeling good about their bats with just three games left before the All-Star break.

Adrian Gonzalez and his eye-popping numbers (.351 BA, 17 HRs, 76 RBIs) have been the toast of the American League this season, but the Sox have been getting production throughout the lineup.

The top of the order has been especially dominant, with the usual first four hitters (Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia, Gonzalez and Kevin Youkilis) all ranking among the top five on the team in hits, runs, home runs, RBIs, batting average and doubles.

The Sox also await the return of prized offseason addition Carl Crawford, who will be looking to put up big numbers in the second half when he comes off the disabled list.
