Chad Ochocinco, welcome to the Northeast. While the folks in Boston may seem to be a lot like the people 200 miles down I-95 in New York, you have to understand that no matter what, when it comes to sports, they just won’t ever get along.

The Patriots’ newest wide receiver has been mostly quiet on Twitter since joining Bill Belichick and Co. in Foxboro, but he was tweeting away on Sunday night as he tried to unite Bostonians and New Yorkers. One fan told him that Ochocinco shouldn’t expect New Yorkers to be nice to him after signing with New England, to which Ochocinco replied, “Why not? I love everybody though.”

“I can’t believe New Yorkers n my Boston folks don’t get along,” Ochocinco wrote. “If we all united we could be 1 huge Toyota Prius car gang with cool jackets. I will be the one man 2 unite my Bostonians and New Yorkers as 1 n when I do it’s gonna make me one hell of a #Patriot. Come on Bostonians and New Yorkers it’s all about group hugs and P.G.O.D.”

When asked what P.G.O.D. stood for, Ochocinco replied: “Prius Gang or Die (The back of our leather jackets will have the peace symbol).”
