In trying to hide his stash, former NBA forward Samaki Walker attempted to eat the hash. Much like his basketball career, it didn't work out too well for him.

Walker was pulled over during a traffic stop in Kingman, Ariz., on Thursday, and as the police officer walked up to Walker's car, the 6-foot-9 big man attempted to eat eight grams of marijuana to hide it from authorities. The disappearing act proved unsuccessful as Walker was arrested for possession of marijuana and liquid steroids.

The 35-year-old University of Louisville product currently plays professionally in Syria for Al-Jalaa Aleppo and told law enforcement officials that steroids are not illegal there.

The ninth-overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in 1996, Walker averaged 5.3 points-per-game in 10 seasons while playing for six teams.
