Bill Belichick has never been one with words. There is no bigger example of that then when Belichick resigned as head coach of the New York Jets. Only hours after being hired, Belichick wrote on a piece of notebook paper "I resign as HC of the NYJ." A year later, he became head coach of the New England Patriots and, well, the rest is history.
