Relive the Moment: Ted Williams Celebrated by All-Stars, Fenway Park Fans Alike at 1999 All-Star Game

As some of the biggest names in baseball took the Fenway Park field for 1999 All-Star introductions, it was a former player who earned the biggest ovation. Ted Williams emerged from the outfield prior to the game, and much to the delight of the fans in attendance. The players enjoyed the appearance as well, as both teams approached the legend when he arrived at the pitcher’s mound.
