It’s a known fact that Bill Belichick is one of the most discipline-oriented coaches in the league. But it still might not be enough to keep rookie quarterback Ryan Mallet from partying.

During the NFL’s rookie symposium in July, Mallet partied all night, Yahoo Sports’ Jason Cole reports.

The Patriots selected Mallet 74thoverall in the 2011 draft. He had previously been considered a potential first-round pick, but concerns about his character caused him to drop to the third round.

In Mallet’s first preseason game against the Jaguars, he threw for 164 yards and had a 108.2 passer rating. Mallet’s performance dropped a bit against the Buccaneers — he threw for 71 yards and an interception.
