Albert Haynesworth Misses Patriots Practice With Back Injury

FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth missed Thursday's practice with a back ailment, according to the team's injury report. It's the first time Haynesworth's back has surfaced as an issue since joining New England.

There were no new injuries compared to Wednesday's list.

Safety Patrick Chung (hand), tight end Dan Gronkowski (hamstring), tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion) also missed Thursday's practice.

Cornerback Kyle Arrington (concussion), cornerback Ras-I Dowling (hip), linebacker Gary Guyton (hamstring), linebacker Jerod Mayo (thigh), punter Zoltan Mesko (left knee), wide receiver Taylor Price (hamstring) and offensive lineman Ryan Wendell (calf) were limited Thursday.

Safety Josh Barrett (thumb), cornerback Leigh Bodden (hand) and linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb) fully participated.
