FOXBORO, Mass. — Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer's mysterious injury was revealed as a back ailment, according to the Patriots' first injury report of the season, which was loaded with plenty of other diagnoses.

Cornerback Leigh Bodden (hand) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (hand) each fully participated in Thursday's practice.

Defensive end Mark Anderson (knee), cornerback Kyle Arrington (hip), right guard Dan Connolly (foot), linebacker Jermaine Cunningham (groin), linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb), wide receiver Taylor Price (hamstring), running back Stevan Ridley (ankle), linebacker Jeff Tarpinian (knee), running back Shane Vereen (hamstring) and offensive lineman Ryan Wendell (calf) were all limited in practice.

At this stage in the week, Vollmer should be considered as the only player who might not be able to play in Monday night's season opener against the Dolphins due to health concerns. That could change if Vollmer practices Friday.
