You don't get a stamp with your picture on it unless you're an American icon. Ted Williams is just that, and as a result, he's going to be honored on a stamp coming to a mailbox near you soon.
Williams will be featured on a new series of stamps that will be released next year with other baseball legends Larry Doby, Willie Stargell and Joe DiMaggio.
The stamp features Williams in his Red Sox home white uniform and of course showcases his picture-perfect swing. See the stamp design below.
