Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington, D.C., unveiled a wax statue of Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin on Sunday, but there's just one problem: The statue might be too perfect.

It's creepy to see Ovi stand next to his wax doppelganger and realize how eerily similar the two are.

"It's a good-looking guy," the human one declared, "but it's kind of weird to see me over here right now."

Ovechkin posed with his statue before answering questions about what he is planning to dress up as for Halloween.

If Ovechkin really wanted to scare his neighborhood trick-or-treater, he should just stand still in his yard and pretend to be his own wax statue. It worked for Troy Palomalu, didn't it?

Video of the unveiling ceremony is below via NHL.com, but also make sure to check out the making-of video for a behind-the-scenes look of how Madame Tussauds was able to make the newest statue so lifelike.
