The Bruins' opening night is always a huge deal in Boston and all of New England, but the return of hockey and the B's takes on a little more importance this season. Winning the Stanley Cup the previous season will do that.
But as excited as fans are for the return of the Black and Gold at TD Garden, the Bruins' loyal followers are also excited about the prospect of raising a new Stanley Cup banner to the rafters of the Boston barn.
