Buffalo Sabres to Celebrate 'Pucktoberfest' During Team's Premiere Series Game in Berlin While the Buffalo Sabres will not be playing at home as they begin the season, there will still be a party at the First Niagara Center to start things off for the fans.

The team has announced that it will host "Pucktoberfest" to celebrate the team's second game and to watch the Sabres take on the Los Angeles Kings in Berlin on Oct. 8.

Entertainment at "Pucktoberfest" will feature the Auslanders, "Buffalo's premier German band" according to the team's website, as well as a traditional German dance group from Western New York, the Schuhplattlers.

The team will then show the Sabres game on the arena's video board and fans should do their best to learn how to pronounce "Schuhplattler" by then.
