David Krejci Does Not Travel With Bruins, Will Miss Wednesday's Game in Carolina With Undisclosed InjuryAfter Monday's 1-0 loss to Colorado, Bruins coach Claude Julien discussed the possibility of breaking up the club's top line due to its slow start in the first three games of the season.

But this wasn't the way Julien wanted to shake up his lineup.

Top-line center David Krejci suffered an undisclosed injury during practice on Tuesday and left the workout early. Late Tuesday afternoon, the team announced that Krejci did not travel with the team on its first road trip of the season and will not play Wednesday night in Carolina.

He will continue to be evaluated by the team's medical staff in Boston and could join the squad for its game in Chicago on Saturday. His status for that contest will be determined later in the week.

The Bruins also announced that defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk and center Josh Hennessy have been taken off the injured/non-roster list, cleared waivers and been assigned to Providence (AHL), while forward Yannick Riendeau has been assigned to Reading (ECHL).
