October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and across sports, tributes have already been made. Most notably, the NFL has decked its players, officials and stadiums out in pink to raise awareness.

The Missouri State ice hockey team is getting in on the action, and they’re taking it to the next level. The Ice Bears will actually play a pair of games on pink ice.

Darren Rovell sent the picture of the ice out (seen below) and according to a Missouri State hockey page on Facebook, the Ice Bears will take on Northern Illinois on Friday and Saturday on the sheet of pink ice. The Ice Bears will also wear black and pink jerseys which will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go to benefit breast cancer research.
