FOXBORO, Mass. — Linebacker Dane Fletcher and cornerback Ras-I Dowling were the only Patriots missing from Thursday’s practice inside the Dana-Farber Field House.

Fletcher (thumb) hasn’t practiced since the Patriots beat the Cowboys, so he likely reinjured the thumb, which he initially hurt in August. It hadn’t caused him to miss any time until the last two weeks of practice.

Dowling has been battling a thigh injury throughout the season, but this was only the fourth time he has missed practice during the regular season. He has been inactive for three of New England’s last four games due to the injury, though.

The Patriots practiced in the bubble due to the cold, rainy weather, which also prompted a number of players to drive to practice.

The Patriots were in shorts and shells for the 19th time in 25 regular-season practices, not including walkthroughs.
