Angelo Ogbonna Admits Liverpool Dream, But Torino Defender Plays Down Potential Move Reported Liverpool target Angelo Ogbonna admits that he is thrilled to see his name associated with the English Premier League giants, but his immediate focus remains on his work at Italian club Torino.

Italian newspapers report that Liverpool is interested in the 23-year-old defender, according to Sky Sports.

"I am flattered by the interest from clubs, but I will continue to work hard for Torino in Serie B." Ogbanna said. "Liverpool is a dream club. If they are interested in me, that is awesome. I love the Premier League and one day I might play in that league. We all know that it is fantastic league."

Ogbanna, an Italian of Nigerian descent, has represented Italy at the U-21 level on a number of occasions. He has been tipped for a potential move after some head-turning displays in Serie B for his club. He debuted in 2007, playing three games in Italy's Serie A. He became a regular in the team the following season and has kept his place ever since.

Ogbanna has stuck with the team that developed him through relegation, but it will be a matter of time before he seeks a greater challenge. It is thought that he can be had for an offer in the range of £3 million ($4.7 million).
