Vancouver Spa Offering Gift Certificate to Stanley Cup Rioters Who Turn Themselves InCanucks fans who didn't get out all of their aggression in the Vancouver riots following the Stanley Cup Final may need to try something new. A day at the spa, perhaps. Luckily for Canucks fans, that's just what they can get, as long as they're ready to admit their guilt.

Sports by Brooks points out an article on the National Post website that reports a Vancouver-area spa is offering $50 gift certificates to fans who turn themselves in for their roles in the riots that took over Vancouver after Canucks lost to the Bruins in Game 7 of last season's Cup Final.

For just a confession and some fingerprints, a rioter can score himself (or herself) a $50 gift certificate to Eccotique Spas and Salons. The certificate will be able to be redeemed after an official arrest takes place.

An Eccotique spokeperson told the National Post that the spa is running the promotion to remind people that it has been four months since the riot and no arrests have been made.

The best part about the campaign, though, may be one of the ads currently running which reads, "You didn't pay for anything at the riots. Why stop now?"
