The concept of Rex Ryan playing a Bill Belichick fan in a movie is one that most folks — particularly those in New York and Boston — might find a tad disturbing.

Belichick, though, admitted he might be entertained by it.

"Should be interesting," he told reporters on Wednesday. "Yeah, that's a new one."

Belichick said he hadn't previously heard about the movie, which features Ryan owning a Belichick bobblehead and poster in his office. The former assistant head coach for the Jets from 1997-99 also said that he wouldn't have to ever play a Jets fan in a movie.

"I was there for a couple of years," Belichick said, "so I was a Jets fan."
