Deion Branch Mocks Fireman Ed’s ‘J-E-T-S’ Chant After Hauling in Touchdown Grab in Fourth Quarter (Video)

Deion Branch doesn’t seem to have the same effect on the Jets crowd that Fireman Ed does. But that didn’t stop the Patriots wide receiver from giving his best impression.

After hauling in an 8-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s Patriots-Jets showdown, which extended New England’s lead, Branch acted as if he was instructing the crowd to do its trademark “J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets” chant.

As you’d expect, it didn’t seem to go over well with the devastated crowd. Maybe that can explain why many headed for the exits shortly thereafter.

Branch finished the game with 58 yards on five catches, but none of his receptions were as emphatic as that one TD grab and the subsequent celebration.
