FOXBORO, Mass. — Wide receiver Julian Edelman is back in the lineup Sunday after missing the last three games and getting arrested earlier in the week, but running back Kevin Faulk won't play against the Giants after making his season debut last week in Pittsburgh.

Wide receiver Taylor Price, who injured his hamstring during Saturday's walkthrough, is also inactive.

Defensive lineman Shaun Ellis (rib), linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb), linebacker Jermaine Cunningham, offensive lineman Donald Thomas and quarterback Ryan Mallett round out the inactive list. Cunningham, Thomas and Mallett are healthy scratches.

Defensive lineman Ron Brace will make his debut after starting the season on the physically unable to perform list due to an elbow injury.

Safety Josh Barrett and running back Shane Vereen are also back in the lineup after sitting out the previous three games.

Price is inactive for the fourth time this season, but this one has to be as frustrating as any for the Patriots after it sounded like he would be more involved in the offensive against the Giants.

Mallett is out for the fifth game in a row and the seventh time this season. Cunningham is a healthy scratch for the second straight week, and he's out for the third time this season. Fletcher is inactive for the second consecutive game. Thomas is also out for the second week in a row. Ellis won't play for the first time this season.
