Outside and in the lobby of the Estelar in Alto Prado, which houses the Argentinean national team, dozens of kids and adults stood with the jersey of Lional Messi, chanting "Mess–ii! Mess–ii!"

When the Argentinian star appeared to board the bus to Roberto Melendez 'Metropolitan' Stadium, people cheered the standout striker, who responded with a salute.

Once on the field, Argentina made adjustments behind closed doors, away from the eyes of the public and the press.

The highlight of the Argentinian squad is that since arriving on Colombian soil there has been no contact with the press, handling themselves with absolute privacy. The poor performance in qualifying (four points in three games) seem to have changed the initial plan to have a more relaxed approach with the media.
