Mark Recchi Calls Vancouver Canucks 'Most Arrogant Team' He Ever Played AgainstNot only do the guys on the ice talk trash, but the retired ones do, too.

Mark Recchi joined Gresh & Zo on 98.5 The Sports Hub on Thursday to talk about last year's Stanley Cup championship. However, Recchi didn't only talk about winning the Cup, he also talked about how much he dislikes the Vancouver Canucks.

"Twenty-two years, they are the most arrogant team I played against and the most hated team I've ever played against. I couldn't believe their antics, they're falling and diving. It was very frustrating, but at the same time as the series wore on we knew we were getting to them and we knew out physical play and our skating, I think it caught them off guard a little bit," said Recchi.

Recchi riled up fans in Canada last year thanks to his comments suggesting that Max Pacioretty was embellishing his concussion. This probably won't help that reputation.

The Canucks play the Bruins on Jan. 7 in Boston, in what should be a very physical rematch.
