Rex Ryan Calls Bill Belichick 'The Genius,' Has Poster and Bobblehead in Adam Sandler MovieLast week, we learned that Rex Ryan will be playing a Boston lawyer and Patriots fan in an upcoming Adam Sandler movie titled I Hate You, Dad.

This week, Sports Illustrated’s Peter King shared some details of the movie, as he was there firsthand to watch Rex the movie star.

King was there in Lynn, Mass., in the summer and watched the scene where Ryan’s character tells Sandler’s character that he owes $43,000 to the IRS. In the scene, Sandler’s character gets upset and disrupts the Bill Belichick bobblehead on Ryan’s character’s desk.

That prompts Ryan to yell, “Don’t mess with the genius!”

Ryan’s character also took offense to Sandler’s character messing with a Belichick poster.

“Don’t screw up my poster!” Ryan said, according to King. “He looks so heroic in that shot.”

Ryan told King that he expects Belichick to find humor in the scene, but something tells me that Belichick won’t be dishing out the $12 to see this one.
