Thanksgiving Offers Football Fans the Chance to Tailgate Indoors

Thanksgiving is about spending time with family and friends. But the eating, drinking and watching football isn't too bad, either.

This year, there are three intriguing NFL matchups set for Turkey Day, which will only add to the experience. In fact, Thanksgiving Day has turned into sort of an indoor tailgate session in many households.

It's not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination. It's just interesting. In fact, had the pilgrims and Native Americans had the National Football League at their disposal, I'm sure they would've tuned in too — you know, if they had television back then.

Check out the modern day Thanksgiving in Will O'Toole's cartoon above.

Since graduating from Seton Hall University, Will O'Toole has been doing cartoons for over 30 years for a number of papers (USA Today), magazines (College and Pro Football Weekly) and websites (CBSSportsline.com). He is believed to be the only national cartoonist to have voted for the Heisman Trophy and the Wooden and Naismith Awards.
