Broncos Linebacker Von Miller Hoping Christmas Brings Twitter ‘Girlfriend’ Rona Gonzales (Photos)

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is having a breakout season and is right in the thick of the Defensive Rookie of the Year race. What’s more, Tim Tebow has rejuvenated the Broncos and they are fighting for a playoff spot in the AFC West.

The only thing missing from this storybook season for Miller, apparently, is a girlfriend to enjoy it with. Enter Rona Gonzales.

“@RonaVGonzales is so beautiful..” Miller tweeted. “Whewww #whatiwantforchristmas”.

Miller began tweeting with Ms. Gonzales and on Wednesday asked the Phillipines-born model to be his girlfriend.

Santa may have come early this year, because on Thursday he tweeted, “Everyone be nice to my beautiful new girlfriend @RonaVGonzales!!! Or else you will get sacked!! #truth”.

That might not be an idle threat. Through 11 games, Miller leads all NFL rookies with 10 1/2 sacks while anchoring the Broncos defense. In the meantime, his Twitter “girlfriend” Gonzales has not publicly responded to Miller’s invite, leaving only speculation regarding the true nature of their relationship.
