The Celtics turned to free agency to bolster their frontcourt and pulled off a trade to improve their backcourt.

The C's, who signed big man Chris Wilcox to a one-year deal, have completed a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks that will land them guard Keyon Dooling.

The C's receive Dooling and a protected second-round pick for the draft rights to Albert Miralles, which were previously acquired in 2005 when the Celtics shipped Antoine Walker to the Miami Heat.

Dooling has averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game over the course of his 11-year career. He averaged 7.1 points and 3.0 assists in 22 minutes per game with the Bucks last season.

The 31-year-old was drafted 10th overall in 2010. He's spent time with the Clippers, Heat, Magic and Nets in addition to the Bucks.
