Kenny Dalglish Remains Positive After LFC's Frustrating Draw Against Blackburn (Video)Certain patterns have emerged in Liverpool's 2011-12 season that most connected to the club find infuriating. Many were on clear display in Monday's draw with Blackburn, but Kenny Dalglish remained upbeat after the game.

LFC controlled the game from start to finish and created numerous chances, but only converted one into a goal. Blackburn goalkeeper Mark Bunn's heroics at the end of the game consigned LFC to it's second consecutive draw.

But Dalglish had a defiantly positive take on the afternoon in his postgame interview.

"We got a point, which is not what we deserved and it wasn't what our intent was either," he said. "It's the same story as what it's been before for us. It gets repetitive hearing, it gets repetitive for us saying it."

The draw was the Reds' sixth at Anfield this season. Although they have won just three of the nine home games, Dalglish pointed out his team remains undefeated in front of its demanding supporters.

"Undefeated isn't it? It's not bad," he said with a wry smile.

Dalglish and the entire club were boosted by the return of LFC captain Steve Gerrard. The veteran midfielder made an impact in his 20 minutes of action.

"He needs more time on the pitch … it was smashing to see him back," Dalgish said.

Liverpool does not have much time to address the frustrating aspects of its season before its next game. Newcastle visits Anfield on Friday for the Reds' final game of 2011.
