Milan Lucic received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for his hit from behind on Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo during the Bruins' 6-0 win in Philadelphia on Saturday. He'll now have a phone hearing with Brendan Shanahan on Monday, as the NHL's head of discipline will have to determine if that was enough punishment for the Bruins winger.

Lucic delivered the hit in question at 16:41 of the first period, after which Rinaldo was OK. The Bruins forward said after the game that he was happy Rinaldo wasn't hurt, and that he hoped to avoid further discipline.

"I realize he was in a bit of a vulnerable position," Lucic said. "I looked and watched the tape again in slow-mo and looked at the point of contact and it was his shoulder more than anything. You could see him turning this way when he was going into the boards. The call is what it is. I'm just glad no one got hurt on the play and that we won here tonight."

This marks the second time this season that Lucic will have a phone hearing with Shanahan, as he also spoke with the league's head of discipline following his controversial hit on Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller last month.
