Report: Jordan Ibe Will Join Liverpool in Summer 2012 From Wycombe Wanderers (Video)

Teenage striker Jordan Ibe will move to Liverpool from Wycombe Wanderers next summer. Talksport reports the Reds won the race for the highly-rated 16-year-old, despite interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.

The teenage striker will make the move to Anfield for a reported £500,000 ($780,000).

The precocious talent has been on scouts’ radars since making his debut in August at age 15. He’s played 10 games (registering one goal and one assit) for League One club Wycombe after graduating from its academy.

He  became a sensation among the English sporting public when he scored in his first-ever start on Oct. 29. He slalomed through the Sheffield Wednesday defense and beat the goalkeeper with a near-post blast.
