Concussions continue to claim more victims in the NHL, although Colby Armstrong did his best to hide his inclusion to the list of players stricken with the injury.

After becoming dizzy and nauseous on Monday afternoon, Armstrong was diagnosed with a concussion and revealed that he had been hiding concussion symptoms from the Maple Leafs training staff in an effort to stay out on the ice.

The right winger had missed morning practice and the Leafs' game against the Los Angeles Kings that day, but it was believed that Armstrong was recovering from a foot injury he had sustained in a collision with Phil Kessel on Saturday night.

"He didn't tell the trainer he had his bell rung [in the Canucks game]," Maple Leafs coach Ron Wilson told the Globe and Mail. "He kept it from us. Now he'll be out for however long it takes [to recover]."

Armstrong had told reporters after the Monday morning skate that he felt good enough to play, but his condition worsened to the point that he finally admitted his concussion to trainers.
