Sidney Crosby's hockey future remains in doubt.

Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said on Wednesday that Crosby continues to experience post-concussion symptoms following light exercise and still has no timeline to return to the ice. Crosby has not skated since he left the Penguins' game on Dec. 5 against the Bruins after colliding with teammate Chris Kunitz.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette notes that it's unclear if Crosby is still suffering symptoms from his original concussion and this is a setback, or if he has a new injury related to a hit this season.

Crosby played in eight games this year after sitting out more than 10 months.
