Tom Brady Practices for Second Straight Day

FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was present for the media portion of Friday’s practice for the second consecutive day.

Brady missed Wednesday’s practice for non-injury reasons and was limited Thursday due to a left shoulder ailment. The media was only present for the stretching portion of practice, but Brady was reaching into a bag of footballs as the media departed, which likely meant he was getting ready to play catch.

Left guard Logan Mankins (knee) and right tackle Sebastian Vollmer (foot, back) were the only players missing from the Patriots’ 82nd and final practice of the regular season, not including closed walkthroughs.

The Patriots practiced in sweats and shells. They only practiced in full pads nine times during the regular season, leaving five full-pads practices in the bag, which cannot be used at a later date. They can practice in full pads once per week during the postseason.

The Patriots have only practiced in full pads once since Nov. 11, a span of 23 practices.

Mankins and Vollmer did not practice all week, which all but certainly means they won’t play in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Bills.
