Winnipeg Jets Fans Start Online Petition to Replace Urinals With Troughs at MTS Centre“When you gotta go, you gotta go.”

But for fans of the Winnipeg Jets, the line outside of the men’s bathroom is turning that into, “When you gotta go, you gotta wait.”

The Canadian Press is reporting that fans have started an online petition for the MTS Centre to replace the urinals in the men’s restrooms with a trough to help speed things up.

“Bring back the trough,” reads the petition. “After finishing 4+ beers, the average Joe has to go do his business. The new washroom service in the MTS Centre cannot handle the capacity.”

The petition’s argument is that a trough would allow up to 10 men to relieve themselves at the same time, compared to the four individuals allowed by the current urinal setup.

Unfortunately, the petition seems to be falling on deaf ears. A spokesman for the MTS Centre told the Canadian Press that they are “comfortable” with the facilities in place now.
