Rappers are known for occasionally making bold predictions. They are also known for having some money.

Combine the two and it can make for one crazy bet.

The latest example is an ongoing Twitter exchange between Bryan “Birdman” Williams, a 42-year-old rapper who helped start Cash Money Records, and Curtis Jackson, more famously known as 50 Cent.

Williams initiated the bet with a tweet on Wednesday, which also revealed that he is the uncle of Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

“I like New ENGLaNd.my nephew play RB# 42,” he posted to his Twitter account, @BIRDMAN5STAR. “I’m Bet 5million 2 [anyone].like tha Giants YMCMB (Young Money Cash Money Billionaires).BabyMoney anybody kan Getit.”

Later that day, 50 Cent — who apparently won $500,000 after accurately picking the Giants over the 49ers in the NFC Championship — responded with a counteroffer.

“I’m up 500,000 off the last one… ill bet it back Ill put a 1,000,000 on my G MEN,” he posted to his Twitter handle. “STUNNER you got the # hit me if you want it.”

With just over a week until Super Bowl XLVI, there’s still no word on if the Birdman has accepted.
