For years, the distinction of best big man in the NBA belonged to Shaquille O'Neal. Now, the title is somewhat debatable, although Shaq has an opinion that may differ from most NBA enthusiasts.

O'Neal, now an analyst for TNT, said that the Lakers' Andrew Bynum is the best big man in The Association, a variation from the common notion that Magic center Dwight Howard holds such title.

Howard responded to O'Neal's comments, noting that he was unaware that Shaq made up the Superman title that Howard has since latched onto in recent years.

"He's mad about Superman. I didn't know he made it up," Howard said of Shaq. "I didn't know Superman came from Shaquille O'Neal… He's still mad about it. I would suggest he just sit down and get on with his life. He don't play no more so what's the point of talking trash. It's not like we're wrestlers and we can battle it out. Who cares?"

Howard is a five-time All-Star and a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, so it's understandable that he'd be a bit confused by Shaq's latest comments. We'll see how the always opinionated O'Neal responds, but it's obvious that the battle for the Superman title is on.
