Mario Balotelli Banned Four Games for Kicking Scott Parker in Head (Video)Mario Balotelli will miss Manchester City’s next four games, starting with Wednesday’s Carling Cup semifinal against Liverpool. The club accepted a charge of violent conduct made against him by the FA, according to the Daily Mail.

Balotelli kicked Tottenham’s Scott Parker in the head during Sunday’s meeting, but was not penalized during the game. Referee Howard Webb later told the FA he would have dismissed the City striker had he seen the incident live.

Balotelli has been dismissed once this season — in City’s 1-1 draw against LFC on Nov. 27. He was given a stiffer punishment than the usual three-game ban for a red card.

The 21-year-old Italian will miss City’s game against LFC, as well as Premier League games against Everton, Fulham and Aston Villa.
