Patriots to Wear Home Blue Jerseys During Super Bowl XLVI Showdown With Giants

The Patriots donned the home blues for their Super Bowl XLII matchup with the Giants following the 2007 season. And as they seek to atone for that upset at this year's big game, they'll once again turn to those jerseys.

The Pats will be the home team and wear their blue jerseys, meaning the Giants will sport their white road jerseys.

New England is 2-1 in Super Bowls while wearing the home blues, winning Super Bowl XXXVI against the Rams and Super Bowl XXXVIII against the Panthers before losing the Super Bowl XLII matchup with the Giants. The Pats are 1-1 while wearing their white jerseys in the Super Bowl, and have lost the only time they wore red jerseys, back in Super Bowl XX against the Bears.
