Another trade could be on the horizon for Theo Epstein.
A day after sending Carlos Zambrano to the Marlins, the Cubs president of baseball operations is shipping around outfielder Alfonso Soriano and has spoken with at least eight American League teams over the past six weeks, according to ESPN.com.
MASNsports.com reports the Orioles are one of the teams that inquired about the outfielder's availability.
Soriano, who turns 36 this Saturday, is owed $54 million over the next three seasons and has no-trade clause. Last season, he clubbed 26 home runs and 88 RBIs for Chicago, but could be on his way out because of the Cubs' rebuilding efforts.
Through 13 seasons, Soriano has hit 340 round-trippers and 927 RBIs with a .274 batting average.
