Super Bowl-Bound Patriots Sent Off to Indianapolis by Enthusiastic Fans at Gillette Stadium (Photos)The New England Patriots held a send-off rally for their fans at Gillette Stadium on Sunday morning. Six players, coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft spoke to the 25,000-plus fans in attendance.

The Pats are set to take on the New York Giants at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis next Sunday. New England will be looking to atone for its Super Bowl loss to Eli Manning and the Giants following the 2007 season. The Patriots, of course, were undefeated that season until that crushing defeat.

These are two completely different teams, though, and the Pats appear to be a team on a mission. Playing with a great deal of confidence and passion, there's plenty of reasons for fans to be excited. And that excitement was evident at Sunday's send-off.
