Tim Thomas, who skipped out on the Bruins White House visit due to his political beliefs, is worse than a cat killer.

At least that’s what Keith Olbermann thinks, as he labeled Thomas the “Worst Person in the World for Jan. 24, 2012” during Tuesday night’s episode of Countdown With Keith Olbermann, as seen in the script and video below.

“Find out why Hal Rounds, spokesman for several local tea parties in Tennessee, is WORSE; whoever killed the cat of Jake Burris, the campaign manager for Democrat Ken Aden who is running for the House of Representatives in Arkansas, is WORSER; and Tim Thomas, goaltender for the Boston Bruins, is the WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD for Jan. 24, 2012.”

Other recent “Worst People in the World” have been: Bryan Fischer, Rush Limbaugh, Lamar Smith, Bill O’Reilly, Bernard Goldberg, Dr. Ruth Jacobs, Newt Gingrich, Mike O’Neal, Mitt Romney and Donald Ainsworth.
