FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (left shoulder) has been removed from the team's injury report, but he's not their only big-name star who was absent from Thursday's list.

Safety Patrick Chung (foot), left tackle Matt Light (ankle), cornerback Devin McCourty (shoulder), wide receiver Julian Edelman (back) and defensive lineman Kyle Love (not injury related) were all removed from Thursday's practice report. Brady was a full participant Wednesday, while Chung, Light, McCourty and Edelman were limited. Love missed Wednesday's session but returned Thursday.

However, rookie offensive lineman Marcus Cannon (ankle) was added to Thursday's injury report after being limited at practice. He missed both practices during the bye week for unknown reasons.

Twelve Patriots were limited Thursday: cornerback Kyle Arrington (foot), Cannon, center Dan Connolly (groin), linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb), safety James Ihedigbo (shoulder), left guard Logan Mankins (knee), linebacker Rob Ninkovich (hip), wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder), linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (foot, back), wide receiver Wes Welker (knee) and linebacker Tracy White (abdomen).
